I recently bought the Alupssuc 100-piece Christmas ball ornament set (the one with Santa, snowmen, and classic red/green/gold baubles), and after decorating with them, here’s how I feel — straight-up, not fluff.
When I opened the box, the first thing that struck me was just how many pieces there are. One hundred ornaments is a lot, and Alupssuc packs a really good variety of sizes and shapes. There are traditional round baubles, but also some novelty ones shaped like Santa Claus and snowmen — which makes the whole tree feel a little more playful and personal.
Hanging them was super easy: each ornament comes with its own rope/lanyard already attached, so there was no extra fuss tying little strings. I appreciated that, especially when I was trying to finish before the kids started helping (and messing things up).
Another big plus: the ornaments are shatterproof plastic, not glass. That was a huge selling point for me because I have a cat, and last year a glass ornament met the floor in spectacular fashion. These feel light and safe, and I don’t have to worry about something breaking if they fall. The color finishes are pretty good — a mix of glossy and matte, and some with a little texture. The red, green, and gold palette looks festive but not over the top.
One thing I noticed: some of the novelty shapes (Santa, snowmen) are smaller than I expected, so they don’t stand out huge on a large tree. And while the plastic is nice for safety, in your hand you can tell — they don’t have the weight or the “premium glass feel.” But honestly, for what you're paying, that feels like a totally fair tradeoff.
Also — I didn’t find tons of deep, wordy reviews from Amazon shoppers (just the basic listing, some “100+ bought in past month” That makes me think either it’s a newer listing or people are mostly satisfied (so fewer complaints), but it also means you’re not getting tons of detailed feedback to lean on.
Overall, I’m glad I picked this set. It’s a very budget-friendly way to get a full, colorful, and durable ornament collection. If you want a safe, cheerful, and versatile ornament set for your tree — especially with kids or pets around — this Alupssuc 100-piece set is a very solid choice.
